MTB Trails

Minocqua is a mountain biking paradise, nestled just a stone's throw from your cabin. Experience the diverse terrains at Minocqua Winter Park and the LAMBO Zip Trail, which features flow trails suitable for all skill levels. Explore the WinMan Trails, boasting over 23 miles of paths for bikers of every ability. Don't miss the scenic McNaughton Trail in the Northern Highland-American Legion State Forest. If you're looking for a more leisurely ride, check out the Bearskin State Trail, which offers potential singletrack sections, as well as the North Lakeland Discovery Center Trails.

ATV & UTV Trails

Explore the beautiful trails of the Willow Region of Oneida county. Wind your way through the Oneida county forest around the willow flowage and head into Tomahawk for some great northwoods food and drink stops. Don't forgot to check out Willow Rapids Picnic Area. Almost all roads are open to UTVs some paved, some gravel, some dirt. Lots of miles to explore around Pier Lake Cabin. 

Snowmobile Trails

Minocqua Forest Riders Snowmobile Club trails surround the cabin and connect to everywhere in the northwoods. Trail 5a cuts across the lake along the shoreline a couple miles to Bucksnort Resort & Reel'em Inn. Head north across Hwy 70 in Vilas County, west into Price County, or southeast to Tomahawk.

Cross-country Ski Trails 

If you are searching for beautiful cross-country ski trails around Minocqua, Wisconsin, you’re in for a treat. Another popular location is the Bearskin State Trail, a well-maintained route that offers scenic views and a flat, accessible terrain. Stretching approximately 20 miles it features a mix of wooded areas and open fields.For those looking for a more remote experience, consider the Placid Lake State Park. While not as developed, its natural beauty makes it a hidden gem for cross-country skiing enthusiasts.
